Crockpot Gulosh

I appologize but I didnt take a photo, to be honest it didnt look appealing, lol. But this is really good and super simple. Even my daughter who is a very picky eater and wont eat meat ate this!!

4 Chicken breast
1/4 Pkg Frozen Peas
1/4 Pkg Frozen Green beans
1/4 Pkg Frozen Broccoli
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
1 cup Chicken broth
1 teas. Onion flakes

Place chicken breast on the bottom of crock pot and throw the veggies on top. You can add other veggies if you like, these are just what I had on hand. Mix together chicken soup and chicken broth and onion flakes. You may have to add a little water to make it runny. Pour over everything. Cook on low for 6 hours. The last hour I added instant brown rice to it and it was done by the time we were ready for supper and it helped soak up the extra liquid.

It's so interesting that in Southern Indiana, gulosh is a whiter, chicken-based sauce. My dad is from Wisconsin and their gulosh is a tomato base. Kind of like chili in a skillet without the chili powder. Your recipe looks tasty!

Lol Amy, well I just came up with that name cause thats what it looked like, it wasnt real pretty looking but man it tasted good. Im all about crockpot meals right now with extreme fatigue plus chasing a constantly active toddler!
