Kale Chips

These are my new favorite snack!! I thought at first how can greens taste like chips?? but they really are very good!! And I dont feel so guilty about eating chips..ha ha. .

Tear kale leaves into small pieces and make sure you dont use the center stem. Wash and dry well. In a bowl place the leaves and drizzle with olive oil and some salt (make SURE you dont use too much salt. . I found out the hard way) shake to coat. Lay on a baking sheet and bake at 400 for 12 minutes or until they are crispy. .
Cool. Yum!!

I have been wondering how I could use kale. It seems like you get a lot of bang for your buck when you buy that big bag of it at the store.

you can also add it to just about any soup for the added nutrition value of it but without the taste. .I added it to vegetable soup .
